Story
Many times, I'm contacted by folks, who know my work, to tell me about a place they think would make a nice painting. This painting was one of those times when the winter landscape actually materialized on canvas. Deep in the woods about six miles north east of our farm sits this log cabin. The couple who owns this property dismantled two old log tobacco barns, brought them to this location and reconstructed it into this quaint log cabin. It is used as refuge from our chaotic world and as a place to entertain family and friends.
