Story
This beautiful plantation setting can be found down an old country road just a little ways from the banks of the Yadkin River here in Yadkin County, North Carolina. Iris', Daylilies, and peonies are grown on the farm and shipped all over the world. Driving about three fourths of a mile off the main road leads to the quiet beauty of this old home place. Lola Gray Holden, who was a childhood friend of my Mother, is the owner of this delightful place. She is always glad to have folks drop by and visit, encouraging them to stay a while and enjoy the beauty and ever-fragrant lush grounds surrounding her home.
So come by, stay awhile, sip a cool mint julep, smell the fragrance of fresh flowers in the air, buy some to take home or just kick back and enjoy yourself. They won't mind a bit!
