Story
Light houses, as many of you know have been a popular subject for a very long time. After having several request that I do a print of one of our North Carolina light houses, I decided to paint and print this view of Cape Hatteras.
Of the many pictures and prints that I have seen of Cape Hatteras and other light houses, most were not views as seen from the ocean. Therefore, I chose to do this scene from an old fishing boat heading in at the end of a day at sea. After all, the main purpose for the lighthouse is to guide the boats and ships safely down the coast line.
